Saint Dimitrios

The seaside village of Agios Dimitrios is located in the Gulf of Almyropotamos and administratively belongs to the community of Argiro. The village stretches along the coast, renowned for its golden sands and turquoise waters. The crystal clear waters of the bay and its natural regeneration is ideal for water activities such as fishing, water sports, sailing and wind surfing. Due to the favorable winds (almost nonexistent north winds) the water of the bay is usually calm. Almyropotamos has a marina where yachts moor as well as the smaller boats. There are also two slides to take the boat to the sea.
